Whitney + Avery, Engaged

Whitney + Avery are up for anything.

When I suggested making the trek to Rock Island for their engagement session they immediately agreed without question, stating that they loved hiking. I'd ask them questions about what they were looking for in their photos for their engagement and wedding, and they would simply say they trusted me and to basically do whatever I see fit. I couldn't have picked a more down-to-earth couple who were up for adventure, being vulnerable, and who quickly became two of my friends. They are not only beautiful to look at, but they were just so easy to be with. I am honored to capture their wedding in March and see my sweet friends again.

Taylor + Christopher, 5 Year Anniversary

Taylor + Christopher were coming to Nashville from Florida to take a couple's engagement photos because they are also photographers, and they decided to turn the trip into a 5 year anniversary celebration. When Taylor reached out to me because her and Christopher saw my Instagram I was honored to say the least... They said they looked through multiple feeds and knew they wanted me to capture this special time. It also didn't hurt that these two were a blast to hang out with for an evening and are both incredibly beautiful. Now, I have two new photographer friends down in Florida, and I know this is just the beginning of a sweet friendship.

Michael + Mary Beth, Married

I don't even know where to begin... This wedding was special for so many reason, one of them being that Michael + Mary Beth are two of my dear, close friends. I have known Michael since I was a kid, and I met Mary Beth over a game of dirty santa, where we aggressively stole a candle from each other, becoming fast friends.

Michael + Mary Beth have one of the most genuine, honest relationships you could witness. The way they are around one another is like an old romance novel... They slow down and always savor each moment. This wasn't just something to witness on their wedding day. You would see it with friends gathered around the tv for football or during a summer cookout in someone's backyard. You would look over and see them in their own world, intently taking each other in.

I love you both, Michael + MB. Your wedding was a dream. Thank you for allowing me to be the one to document it for you two. Oh, and Happy Birthday Michael ;)  {Scarritt Bennett Center}
