Barefoot Benefit

I attended the second Barefoot Benefit event in Maryville, TN this past Sunday, where Jared played some of his new music. The weather was perfect for running and/or walking in bare feet at the Lambert Acres Golf course in support of a good cause.

Huntsville weekend

Jared and I went on a nice little trip to visit my brother and his fiancee in Huntsville, AL for the weekend, along with a Saturday day trip to Birmingham to see family. It's been too long since I've seen them, and I don't want that to happen again. We laughed, ate to no end, watched YouTube videos, played fetch with the dogs, took naps, held hands and sat together in a living room I have been away from for too long.

family in town

My cousin Brooke, who is a recent graduate of West Point, is now stationed at Fort Campbell in Kentucky. Now that she is so close she can come down for visits, which is what she did this week. Also, my other cousin, Lauren, and my Aunt Suzy drove through Nashville to move Lauren to Charleston for an incredible internship (lucky girl.) It was great having family over, even if it was only for a few short hours. I really miss them.

Brooke had never been to Downtown Franklin, so naturally I had to show her around.

Chicago

One of my dearest friends, Stephanie, is a talented singer, dancer and actress, and not to mention nurse. She has been taking part lately in Keeton Theatre productions, such as, "The Wedding Singer," "Chorus Line," and currently, "Chicago."

Even though my seat was in the nose-bleed section of sorts in the very back, the show was incredible. I have some pretty talented friends I will say.
