Christmas time

This Christmas seemed to fly by; We were celebrating Thanksgiving and then all of the sudden it was the new year. Regardless of the quickness, this Christmas was wonderful all the same. I continued the annual gingerbread house building party, took the Durios' family photos, now including two new puppies, luckily witnessed our Albino deer graze through our woods, spent Christmas with my parents at Jared's home, and had a Sips n' Strokes party with Brent and Darcie in our kitchen. I wonder what next year will bring.

The weather couldn't have been better, and Mene and Paul couldn't have been happier; they were actually glowing with excitement. Opryland lights

The lights at Opryland Hotel at Christmas time have become a tradition to visit every year with my friends. I don't want to even think about how long it takes to set up, but I'm glad they do it.

Dickens of a Christmas

At Christmas time, my town of Franklin shuts down it's busy streets so that characters from A Christmas Carol, kids playing the violin, dogs in matching red and green sweaters, and anyone else who wishes to attend can mingle and celebrate Christmas. It's one of my traditions that I look forward to every year. Dickens of a Christmas in Downtown Franklin truly gets me in the Christmas spirit.
