Rome

Back in 2008 I visited Rome and fell in love with the colors. I've been thinking about it a lot lately, and I would more than love to go back soon. The tight alleyways and bright, chipping walls are perfect to sit in and just watch.

Caitlin's Turn

It's the season of weddings and showers and up next is my friend Caitlin. With her wedding around the corner in October, the festivities of parties and pure celebrations are beginning. Her bridal party was held at the Governor's Club in Brentwood, where we sipped on sweet tea and coffee, ate miniature mouth goodies, and explored the plantation in sundresses and heels.

The bride-to-be opened sweet, meaningful gifts. Her grandmother saved a quilt at her birth to be kept until her wedding. Her surprised expression was heart-felt and genuine.

Congratulations Caitlin! So many more sweet moments to come.

Wedding Day

My best friends, Caleb and Ashley, were married Saturday. It was the first wedding I've been a bridesmaid in, and it made the entire summer a non-stop celebration. As you may know, I did Ashley's bridal portraits, but I couldn't help myself from snapping a few quick ones on the day of. What a fun day!

My dad was gracious enough to shoot some more with my camera while I joined in on the dancing fun.
