Cailey + Wesley's engagement in Baxter

The moment I received Cailey's email about photographing her engagement and wedding I was ecstatic! Her and Wesley's wedding is going to be at a pub and their engagement was in an old charter bus junkyard. How cool is that?! Plus, they are beyond kind and up for anything. It had been storming majority of the day of their engagement session, but we decided to go ahead with it rain or shine. Cailey  said, "Now worries! I'll make sure my rain boots match!" Luckily, no rain boots were necessary. 

Mady + Ryland's Wedding

The weddings I photograph always make me a little emotional... The meaning of the day and being the one to document it gives you a deep appreciation and connection to the couple. Ryland and Mady were a little different... I know this couple personally and their love is breathtaking. I cried about 4 times on their wedding day at The Hitchin' Post... Mady was the type of bride you dream for. Every word that came out of her mouth reflected how excited she was to become Ryland's wife. The entire day was beautiful, yet it stormed during the reception and Mady could have cared less. She didn't even think twice about it... There could have been a flood, but Mady got to marry Ryland that day and it was all that mattered. And then there was Ryland, unable to take his eyes off Mady. He couldn't have been more proud of her becoming his wife that day. Mady and Ryland love one another as everyone should, with everything they possibly have. I truly love you both.
