Jamie + Andy engaged

    It seems the weather likes to cooperate with my engagement sessions lately...once again, we had a warm evening the last weekend of November with a pink and blue sunset. Jamie and Andy were troopers running around Nashville with me, trying to capture our last bit of light. Andy was humble and quiet, along for the ride, and Jamie was beaming with happiness. I cannot wait to capture these two again in April.

Grace + Stephen Married

Almost 7 years ago I graduated high school with Grace and Stephen from Franklin High School. Now, so many years later I had the privilege of capturing their wedding day. And it was fun. A trolley took us around town, including our old high school stomping grounds, and the entire time the bridal party, who have also known each other for years, joked (I couldn't stop giggling listening to this group), talked about old memories and celebrated Grace and Stephen. 

Grace couldn't have looked more beautiful. Stephen's face was probably aching the next day from his permanent grin the whole day. The weather was unbelievable for late November. Everything was perfect, and Grace and Stephen soaked it in - took their time and knew what the day was about. It's really that simple, and they get it. Congratulations Grace and Stephen, thank you for letting me in so many years later.
