Rachel + Chris engaged

Such a sweet (and rainy!) evening with Rachel and Chris. We dodged the rain and climbed mounds of dirt, yet Rachel and Chris couldn't have cared less because they were happy and enjoyed spending this time together. Does anything else matter? So many things go wrong on days we expect to be perfect when they actually turn out to be even better than we had originally thought... Thank you Rachel + Chris for understanding that. I cannot wait to continue our friendship into your wedding day...

Jamie + Andy married

I had an instant connection with Jamie + Andy. Everything was easy between us, and I yet again gained two more sweet friends from working with them over the past year. I loved hearing about their lives and how they met. Their story is every big brother's nightmare. Jamie's brother's best friend, Andy (the groom), fell for the little sister, Jamie (the bride). If any of you have an older brother (me!) you could imagine how that would go over and, in this case, it was just solidifying Andy as part of the family. 

I typically cry at every wedding I go to at one time or another. This one got me a handful of times... Andy's reaction to Jamie at their first look, Jamie handing her dad a letter moments before the doors opened to walk down the aisle, and, again, when Jamie had a special gift for her father during the first dance (ask her about it... it was ridiculously sweet).
