My friend Tom works for TPAC and is currently helping out with renovating the backstage rooms at the War Memorial Auditorium. Awesomely enough, he asked me to paint some old instruments to hang in the red room shown below, which will function as a place for the artists to hang out and have a drink (at that awesome hand-built, wooden bar).
He showed Jared and I around, lounging a bit in each of the rooms. The place was empty, so we were able to check out the stage. It's funny how a place like that can look so small with no one in it.
My favorite part of the auditorium would have to be the ceiling, as shown in the first picture. I just wanted to lay right there on my back and stare.
