On one of the last days that felt like Summer combined with the crispness of Fall, my parents and I went canoeing down the Harpeth River. We floated for hours, with the exception of my mom wanting to paddling like she was in the Olympics, caught fish and then let them go, named a following crane Billy, and enjoyed not seeing a single other person on the river. I wish Fall was like this everyday.
