I started reading the Harry Potter books when I was a little girl. I grew up with the magic of the story, and the thrill of book releases. Fans of this spectacular tale have grown up with Hermione, Ron and Harry, just like I have. It might sound a bit nerdy, but the seven books of Harry Potter are magic.
Midnight releases of the movies are massive costume events. I've seen quidditch played in front of the big screen, and there is always a Voldemort in the crowd, casting spells at the multiple Harrys in the seats-- not to mention yelling "Muggles!" at those not dressed for the occasion.
Let's just say, I love premiere nights. I was sad to attend my last one last night, but it was worth the tired eyes and bumper-to-bumper traffic.
I love the fans coming as characters: Tonks, Lupin, Voldemort, Draco, Fred & George, Ginny, Mad Eye. I love the clapping in the theatre when the good conquer evil. I just love Harry Potter.
I'm so glad your mom stayed up for the movie! Y'all are precious.
